Jerry Doyle was an American radio host, television actor, and founder of the news network, EpicTimes. He was best known for The Jerry Doyle Show, and for his role in the series Babylon 5. Doyle was born on July 16, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York. His father was a police officer and his mother a housewife. He was later adopted. Doyle attended Pope John XXIII Regional High School in New Jersey followed by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He graduated in 1978 with a degree in Aeronautics.

CAREER
Prior to a career in the entertainment industry, Doyle worked as a jet pilot and as a stockbroker. He moved to Los Angeles in the early 1990s and made his television debut in the ABC television series, Moonlighting. He followed up with a number of appearances in the soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. Doyle held the memorable role as “Michael Garibaldi” in the science fiction series, Babylon 5. The show ran from 1994 to 1998 for a total of five seasons.

Doyle’s nationally syndicated talk show, The Jerry Doyle Show, was rated among the most popular shows with millions of weekly listeners. The show ran on the Talk Radio Network. Doyle replaced Michael Savage’s and his radio program ‘The Savage Nation’ in 2012. He founded the news and podcast network, EpicTimes, in February 2013.

PERSONAL
Jerry Doyle died on July 27, 2016, at the age of 60. He was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at his Las Vegas home. No official cause of death was reported. Doyle was married to actress ‘Andrea Thompson’ from 1995 to 1997. He had two sons, Alec and Al.
